DAMA COC Board
The Central Ohio Chapter is governed through a charter and a set of by-laws. These stipulate that a board is set up to govern the organization and assure its growth and success. The DAMA COC Board consists of elected members that are professionals in the field of information management and data resource management. All elected offices are held for one year in duration and are non-compensated.

They come from a wide variety of organizations and backgrounds with a common goal: to further the concepts of data and information management in Central Ohio. Matt Wienke - President
As Director of Attevo’s South Region, Matthew’s responsibilities include business and associate development, project management and quality assurance in the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton areas. Matt has over eight years experience in the financial services industry (focusing on retail banking and insurance), as well as significant industry expertise in manufacturing and distribution in the automotive, retail, and health care industries.
In addition, Matthew has over 14 years of experience in professional services and has extensive business systems architecture experience justifying, planning, designing, and implementing strategic, large-scale technology solutions. His experience includes operational data integration, data warehousing, application development and packaged software solution implementations.
Prior to joining Attevo, Matt was with Infinis, Incorporated as a Senior Manager in their Customer Intelligence and Corporate Performance Management practices. He also was a member of Arthur Andersen Business Consulting in Columbus from 1995-1999.
Matt is a graduate of the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington.

Rav Ravindran - Vice President of Membership
Rav is the Manager of Corporate Analytics for the Century Insurance Group. He has worked in the information technology field for the last 8 years specializing in data warehousing and business intelligence solutions primarily within the insurance industry. Rav has a background in Accounting/Finance and holds a Masters in Business Administration.

Steve Grover - Vice President of Programs
Steve Grover is president of Business Driven Data and has over 22 years of experience in systems development, IT management and technology consulting. Mr. Grover has held IT leadership roles with such institutions as Limited Brands, Bank One (Chase) and Ohio State Life. In 2005 he founded Business Driven Data (BDD) an IT consulting firm specializing in Corporate Performance Management, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence for large and mid-size companies. Mr. Grover earned his CBIP (Certified Business Intelligence Professional) at the Mastery Level from TDWI/ICCP in Data Warehousing Leadership in 2004. He also became certified in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) in 2005. Mr. Grover graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Computer Science.

Hemant Swarup - Treasurer
Hemant Swarup has worked in the data related field for 8 years on multiple BI projects. He currently works for ICC as a data Architect. Hemant has a Masters degree in Physics and Systems Analysis.

Joe Taylor - Vice President of Communications
Joe Taylor has over 15 years experience split evenly between business and technology. He is currently an Applications Manager – FP&A Systems for Limited Brands. Joe has spent the last 8 years helping companies implement and support business intelligence systems. Joe's areas of expertise include management reporting, planning & budgeting, financial consolidations, and management dashboards. Joe has considerable industry experience including retail, insurance, financial services, banking, automotive, and retail/food/beverage. Prior to working in the technology field, Joe worked in public accounting for over 7 years. Joe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Joe received his B.S. in Accounting in 1990 from Indiana University - Bloomington, IN.

Gina Phillips - Member At Large
Gina has 30+ years experience in Information Technology, Data Architecture and Database Administration with industry experience with some of the country's largest corporations in: Retail, Utilities, Automotive, Insurance, Workers Compensation, Financial, Retirement, Direct Marketing/Fulfillment, Higher Education, Manufacturing, and E-commerce. Gina is currently a Data Architect in Business Intelligence and Data Management with DSW, a specialty branded footwear retailer. She was previously a director in a BI/DW Consulting Practice with one firm and a senior data architect with another consulting firm, where she developed varied data architectures for 20+ clients that included DW projects of diverse scope - from Departmental Data Marts to Enterprise Data Warehouse Architectures. She introduced the concept of data management to another company, where she created and managed a new Data Services Dept. Gina was a speaker at a DAMA quarterly meeting in which she presented "The Difference Between OLAP and OLTP Data Modeling". Gina is active in numerous Data Management and IT professional organizations, including DAMA-COC where her current focus is providing industry certification opportunities to local data management professionals through ICCP. She is currently a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) at the Mastery Level.

Natalie Arsenault - Member At Large
Natalie Arsenault has been engaged in directing enterprise data solutions in major Fortune 100 companies for over twenty-five years, specializing in data management, modeling and design. Her current work involves directing the enterprise data architecture for Tween Brands, establishing data standards, governance, and consistent data practices as well as implementing solutions for operational systems and the data warehouse.
A contributing author to the Data Model Resource Book (Wiley) by Len Silverston, Ms. Arsenault has presented at several international conferences including DAMA International. Ms. Arsenault is an active participant in multiple industry groups sharing her expertise with fellow members.

Ailene MacKay - Member At Large
Ailene MacKay is a certified Project Manager (PMP) specializing in Business Intelligence and Decision Support System projects. She currently works for The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio Health Plans responsible for Business Intelligence and Decision Support System Enhancement Portfolio of Projects. She has extensive cross-functional experience in Information Technology, Business and Healthcare. Ailene has a Masters in Business Administration Degree and a Doctorate of Music Degree.

Neelam Mohanty - Webmaster
Neelam Mohanty has worked in the data warehousing and Business Intelligence field for over seven years in a variety of roles. She has worked as a consultant for American Express and as a Data Warehouse specialist at Nationwide Insurance. She currently works for JP Morgan Chase as an ETL Applications Developer and is involved in building out their education data warehouse. Neelam holds a Masters in Computer Science from Franklin University where her capstone project involved setting up an end to end open source data warehousing solution for small corporations.

DAMA COC - Board Member Responsibilities
The DAMA COC by-laws define the responsibilities for each board member. The Board is elected annually by the membership. To support the Board and to foster member interaction, several committees are involved with specific activities such as assisting with the web site, assisting with the general meetings, etc.

| President |
The board President ensures compliance of the local chapter with its responsibilities to DAMA International and provides general leadership and direction. The board President also represent the organization at local events and at DAMA International meetings and events. The President creates agenda's for board meetings and helps provide direction for committee(s) to do chapter business.

| Vice President of Membership |
The Vice President of Membership maintains membership lists for the chapter. Generally this is as simple as keeping and updating an existing MS Excel™ Spreadsheet. The VP of Membership along with help from the board signs people into the meetings, and collects any fees for non-members as applicable. These are turned over to the Treasurer. This person supplies the member list to reciprocating chapters, and also supplies this list to DAMA International. The VP of Membership also chairs the Nominating Committee for the chapter elections.

| Vice President of Programs |
The Vice President of Programs arranges our DAMA COC general membership meetings / programs. This includes finding a building location and speakers. The VP of Programs works to schedule programs that meet membership needs. Once a meeting or program is set up, the VP of Programs creates the meeting agenda with meeting information on an MS Word™ document which is forwarded to the VP or Communications to forward to the membership.
Planning the meetings or programs means obtaining input from the members with the help of the Vice President of Communciations. This person also works with other DAMA chapters on presentations or programs. This collaboration will help reduce costs for speakers.
A special relationship that the Vice President of Programs will foster is the Southwest Ohio Chapter of DAMA (SWOC of DAMA). This person will work with the Programs Director from the SWOC of DAMA to help forward the relationship started with this chapter.

| Treasurer |
The board Treasurer records all financial transactions and legal matters for the local chapter. The Treasurer collects all appropriate dues and fees. The Treasurer forwards information on dues and fees collected to the appropriate board members, such as the VP of Membership or VP of Programs. This is to confirm 'memberships' or 'sponsorships'. It the responsibility of the other board members to notify the Treasurer in advance of bills due, so that the Treasurer has adequate time to pay these.

| Vice President of Communications |
The Vice President of Communications records and publishes meeting minutes and maintains all local chapter documents. The VP of Communications sends out meeting announcements and general communications to our chapter members and maintains the email distribution list.

| Member At Large |
Members at Large serve on committees as assigned by the board President. They assist in the various projects the board undertakes.

| Webmaster |
The webmaster manages the organization's web site and sets up email accounts for the organization. The webmaster also assists the board with various technology issues and develops solutions.
