We provide incredible programs featured by local and national speakers on relevant topics without the need to hassle with airlines, hotels and time away from the family. DAMA COC - Detailed Chapter Information The Central Ohio Chapter of the Data Management Organization was started in 2001. A dedicated group of data /information professionals came together to start a local chapter of DAMA International. We are a not-for-profit, vendor-independent, professional organization dedicated to furthering the understanding of the field of data management and information resource management by providing educational opportunities and supporting an open forum addressing issues related to this field. Some of the objectives for the Central Ohio Data Management Chapter are: Supporting an open forum for exchange of information, problems, ideas, experiences and resources. Sponsor conferences, workshops, and special interest groups to further the purpose of the chapter. Data Resource Management is the development and execution of architectures, policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs of an enterprise. DAMA International promotes data resource through a variety of education programs. These include an annual conference that is attended by professionals from around the world. DAMA COC divides up our data into the following: Document Types Web Site Area / Link Description Minutes From Our Meetings Chapter Board Meeting Minutes These are MS Word documents that are minutes from our monthly board meetings or general member meetings. These minutes are taken by the VP of Communications. The document title will include the meeting type (Board or General) and date. Presentations From Our Meetings Meetings / Presentations Page These are predominantly MS Powerpoint documents and Adobe PDF documents. They are provided by the presenters at our general meeting. Ever want to know what was presented at a meeting, you can find these presentations here. Chapter Documents Page Chapter Documents These are predominantly MS Word documents or an MS Excel Spreadsheet that contains chapter information. This would include the by-laws, membership forms, sponsorship forms, reciprocating member agreements and the like.
